Welcome to Pixel Progress ("we," "our," "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our application. By using Pixel Progress, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We only collect information essential for the app's functionality. This includes:

• Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and username. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture URL as provided by Google. Your password for email-based accounts is processed and stored by Firebase Authentication and is never visible to us.
• User Content: Any data you create in the app, such as tasks (titles, descriptions, due dates), goals for the AI Task Suggester, and motivational notes you send to other users.
• Profile Information: You may voluntarily provide a custom username and upload an avatar.
• Gamification & Usage Data: We store your in-app progress, including XP, achievements unlocked, and tasks completed, to power the app's features.
• Social Information: We store your list of "Pixel Pals" and the motivational notes you exchange with them.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Pixel Progress application.
• Personalize your experience by displaying your username, avatar, and progress.
• Enable social features, such as connecting with Pals and sending notes.
• Power AI features, like suggesting tasks based on your goals.
• Manage your account and provide customer support.
• Send you essential service communications, such as email verification and password resets.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information in the following limited circumstances:

• With Other Users: Your username and avatar are visible to your "Pixel Pals." Motivational notes you send will be visible to the recipient.
• With Service Providers: We use Google Firebase for authentication, database, and file storage, and Google AI (via Genkit) for our AI features. These services process your data on our behalf. • For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google's Firebase platform. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but please be aware that no security system is impenetrable.

Your Data Rights
